"Its a good day to get soaked, even if we have lunch reservations!"
Today is ANIMAL KINGDOM DAY! Tyler has been talking about Animal Kingdom since we arrived in Disney. It was his day! It was a bit chilly, but definitely warmer than the day before... however, we played it safe with long pants. We strolled in and were so excited. The decorations are GORGEOUS and adorably Animal Kingdom Christmas themed... haha Not really this particular wreath, but you get the idea...

We had no direct plans of what we wanted to do first, second, third... haha So we just acted like we were on vacation. Uh...hellooooo haha
We got our pictures taken by the photopass dude. He was really nice.

Funky Mirrors
We walked by the Finding Nemo musical and the line was rolling it. I have always wanted to see it. Ty and I went, while Tim was in search of a beverage of the beer type. haha and fastpasses for Expedition Everest. I didn't bug Tim about it, I was not sure what to expect... previews on TV do not do it justice at all. We had horrible seats, however the show was so amazing it kept Tyler's attention the WHOLE time, even though he could not see the whole thing. I held him up on my lap and it was hot, but amazing nonetheless. We wanted to try to come back but never made it. Next time :)
We had our fastpasses for Expedition Everest (the coolest roller coaster ever) and we headed back over to ride, however the ride was shut down temporarily. Safety first, I am all for it, but would you believe people were complaining... "Uh, hello... did you want to die today?" Good gosh! They fixed whatever technical problem there was and it was back running. I went on and Tim was not sure... since our FP time was running out and I figured that Tim would not want to ride, I used the other one. heehee However, I was wrong and Tim decided he wanted to rock the coaster... I told his to go to the single rider lane and it was better than a fast pass! He loved it. It is one of the best rides EVER. So cool.
And now we get to a funny part of our journey. Tim gets this GREAT idea to ride the Kali River Rapids ride. We have reservations for Yak and Yeti at 2:15 :) TIIIIMMM, what are you thinnnkin! I was all for joining him, as was Ty, however I didn't bring my trusty ponchos from the room, so I said we should buy some, especially for Tyler. (and the fact that we had reservations) Tim?!?!.... nope, he was determined to ride it without the poncho and "stay dry"... Ty and I got ours and headed over to the ride. We suit up... everyone on our little raft was covered, except you know who... TIMMMMMAY!
We are off, and you guessed it, every possible place water could land on you, it went directly onto Tim. I have never, EVER heard Ty laugh so freaking hard. It was hysterical. He had the whole raft rolling with laughter! Well, since there was no line, a lady on our raft asked if we could roll through again (she was dry)... they let us (meanwhile her 7 year old is crying hysterically to get off.. oops), Tim was already drenched beyond anything, so "why not"... More laughter and the lady that asked was the one to get water bombed the most. It was so much fun. Even though we had ponchos, we were a little wet, NOTHING like TIM! Oh my freaking freak, is there any water left in this rapid pool?! Oh my gosh!
This picture does not do this situation justice, he had cartoon amounts of water rolling off of him for the next hour... and yes, ressies at 2:15...
We get to this bridge and Tim learned that by pressing this button, you can squirt people on the raft. Feeling justified to give it to em... needless to say, we were here for a while... haha

Squirt... Yes, I have a series of picts like this, but you get the idea... (insert Tim's maniacal laugh here)

Venturing, and leaving a water trail (imagine the free ride for people walking behind Tim... the cheapest ride in Disney, Tim's Slip n Slide as you walk by Ride)

Up next... part 2 of Day 3... This was rather picture heavy so I thought I'd break it up :)
Give everyone time to "let it all soak in..." haha I know, I know...but got a little smile from it, didn'tcha!!!
We have Yak and Yeti, yes we swam, 2 parades and Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom!)
