Day 5, part 2... Magical Ball, SUSHI and fireworks
Here we are, on our way back to Epcot. The lights at during the holiday season and incredible.

So as soon as we get in, Ty sees Spaceship Earth or as he called it... The Magical Ball. I kinda prefer that :)
So Ty really wants to ride this, so I take him on it. ::Spoiler:: ahead if you don't want to know the changes that were made to the ride. :)
The first half is the same and they take your picture. Right away I though, oh here we go, they want to sell us a picture of us on the ride. So we see all of the history of communication and technology. From cavemen, to computers... it takes you through. Super cute what comes next. These little touch computers come on and asks you all these questions. They then had this little show that included you, and it placed your head on cartoon bodies... The story is about your future and the environment... etc. But Ty and I had a good laugh at ourselves.

So we get off the ride and Ty wants to ride again (there was NO line) we found Tim and let him know... we get on the ride and Ty hits the language button, picks German... so the WHOLE long ride, I have to hear it in German. NO clue. So I text Tim and he thinks its hysterical. There is no way to change it. So we answered the questions the best way we could. haha
LOVELY

We survived the ride and found Tim. We were getting a little hungry and headed over to the new sushi restaurant in Japan. It was called Teppan Edo. It had a very upscale contemporary feel to it. There was a huge TV on one side that was showing pictures of Japan, and a section where the Japanese women were making sushi. I thought it was interesting that it was all women making the sushi.

See the large TV

I got some miso soup and tea, Tim got a beer of course :)
Since I am super adventurous, I got the California roll :) and Tim got Eel.
Ty got some rice. More on that in a bit :)

Here is my california roll

So we are enjoying our food, when a piece of rice gets Ty's gag reflex (remember, this place is kinda fancy, even for Disney) and starts to throw up. Luckily the server was sweet and we didn't make a gigantic scene. We got cleaned up, paid the bill and left... It was interesting ;)
After that adventure, we head out to find a place near the exit to watch the Illuminations. This one is kinda boring for me. The have this lull, where I know its a meaningful song, but I was over it. haha We just wanted Ty to see the fireworks.

Lots of fire, and it was pretty cool how they did it!

Tyler is super excited

This is a genuine reaction with Tyler. I think I watch his face more than the fireworks. Its a more meaningful show for me.

We inched closer and closer to the exit, while still watching the fireworks to beat the crowd.
Here is a little self family portrait...

When we got back to the resort, we decide to walk over to All Star Movies. This resort seemed a lot bigger and more interesting than All Star Music, which we loved, but this was super cute. All the Disney movie characters. The Toy Story one was just adorable and larger than life.

To give you an idea, look at Ty barely coming up to the top of Buzz's foot.

Here is Tim wishing he could be just like Woody :)

Here is Ty rocking out with his own little Mickey light saber.

We were exhausted, so we decided to head back and get some rest...and thats exactly what we did.
Up next... Downtown Disney, and Dinner at Boma...

Day 5, part 1... 1900 Park Fare, Magic Kingdom ...
Today is a pretty exciting day for me! We were going to 1900 Park Fare and it is one of my absolute favorite character meals :) They have a lot of characters, good food, strawberry soup (which I didn't have this time, and of course the most important... Grand Mimosas! In your best operatic voice, sing with me... AaaaahhhhhhhH!

Delicioso, Délicieux, Delizioso, Köstlich and for my girl... απολαυστικότητα! DELICIOUS! It translates in any language...good shiz.
Yeah, I liked it.
OK, Now that I wasted a lot of time looking up the translations for delicious.... I shall move on.
The characters at this fancy pants place, not really, but kinda... posh relaxious... are Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too... Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. Very fun!
We sat next to this super loud family. The kids were wild, and could not sit in their seats for anything. LOUD. So this table across from us had children that were even wilder. One had his mickey mouse light saber and decided to have a battle in the middle of the floor. He swung it around and loud dad next to us yells at him "You almost hit my son's head, now you sit now and behave." Ok, part of me was happy he did that, but darn if he didn't have blinders for his own little precious monsters. So the lightsaber boy settled a bit, until his brother and him decided to have a wrestling match in the middle of the floor... at that time, the server saw this and told then that they are to stay in there seats. She told them that, that is not the way to conduct yourself in a restaurant. HA! The parents sat right there, didn't say ANYTHING to their children so I was pleased with that. Needless to say, it was a little stressful, but a great show, and I had my Grand Mimosa, so no worries.
Ty and Tigger toooo.

Mimosa Face

Whole lotta cuteness

Awwwww

I didn't even care that my hair looked horrible...

Miss Mary Poppins and my little darling

Tim looks oh so comfortable with Mary Poppins.... maybe I should shared my Mimosa! haha

ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST!!! Whoooo Hooo!

Some Alice love

I do think Tim prefers this type of Pooh-tifulness with his little buddy too

Ty and the Mad Hatter...

I look sort of Mad Hatterish.... good thing we were headed to Magic Kingdom after this...

So after our oh so delicious experience, we headed over to The Magic Kingdom.
Here is Ty and me in front of the castle.

Tyler's favorite ride, and one he continues to talk about is Goofy's Barnstormer. Very VERY cute. He went on it last year and I think that maybe he was a little too little then, glad it didn't scare him away from all things goofy :) As we were getting off, I saw a little girl who was with "Make a Wish" and I was just so impressed with her beautiful big smile. I don't know her name, but I keep her in my prayers. God Bless her.

Next stop was the train station to ride around to the main entrance. There were not doing the little conductor thing, but it was a cute ride anyway :)
We headed back to the resort to rest up a bit, we had a light lunch, tried to nap... all that boring stuff, if anything is boring in Disney. :)
Next up...

Day 4, Part 2...Power Rangers, Spectacular Lights and Pony Rides
So, after the poo-tiful (haha, I kill me) excitement at the pool, and Tim getting a much deserved beer...we headed back to rest up, shower and head to Hollywood Studios to see the Hollywood Studios Osbourne Light Spectacular. And yes, its spectacular... however, we did have to wait until darkness fell and Hollywood Studios (I am so not used to it not being MGM) has a lot of fun stuff too. Ty and I went on The Great Movie Ride... it was fun except for lady who pushed her whole family in front of Ty and me... She ran ahead and literally had to get in front of the two of us... I started to get a bit heated, so I asked the cast member dude if I could switch to the other line. I really cannot stand rude people. I bit my tongue and swore I would enjoy it :) We did get on the ride before the rudey rudes and I felt satisfied. The ride was cute, esp the Wizard of Oz part. I was smitten and especially proud that Ty knew the songs. We got off and met up with Tim who had beer and pretzel in hand. Nice.

So here we are, at the end of Day 4... Incredibly fun and just magic. I know I keep saying that, but it is.
Incredible place.
Up next...Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Sushi, Fireworks and All Star MOVIES. WHAT?
We saw Lightening McQueen and Tow Mater.... Here is Ty showing off his cars... haha

Then they do this little karate performance before getting on their special vehicle that is blaring the power ranger rockness. haha

Then it was off to get his face painted. He was so excited about this and sat so nicely. As soon as the Simba lion face makeup was on, Ty was in character. So cute.

And then we came upon Mulch, Sweat and Shears... Fun little band that did their own take on Christmas music. The singer definitely influenced by Jack Black. It totally worked and they were hilarious and talented... More on them in another post...

Then it was time for the light. I am not gonna lie, I situated us right near where they flip the switch. I wanted them to pick Ty... Avast, they did not, however it was crazy magical fun. My favorite is when they play Feliz Navidad... dunno why, but it reminds me of my childhood... maybe thats why...

Self portrait of our faces :)
Self family portrait... getting better at it . haha

When we were finished, we walked out and there was a table filled with Lincoln Logs... Ty of course LOVED that.
We looked around the Wilderness Lodge for a while. It is really themed well. I really felt like I was locked away in the Wilderness. That is one thing about Disney.. It magically whisks you away to so many different places and emotions. Sigh...

Then it was off to Whispering Canyon Cafe...
so what if I get it for the glow... HOLLA!
The food was YUM... I actually liked the ribs, which I usually never eat. The ketchup game was played... haha and our server was awesome. Tyler got to ride the pony ride, however, his wooden pony head broke off and he cried... so they gave him a new one and Tim and Ty rocked a solo lap around the restaurant. Yes, it made me giggle quite a bit.

Some diet cheesecake... shut up, thats how I can rest my head at night.
ITs diet... especially the decadent chocolate and marshmallow...oh the caramel...ummmmm wha, wait, what were we talking about...

We were there long enough for another pony ride! Check out the shirt... notice its different? haha We had to switch shirts because it started to get covered in all the Simba faceness... and while you don't have to be all fancy pants in Disney, you want to look sort of clean. haha
