Day 4, Part 2...Power Rangers, Spectacular Lights and Pony Rides

So, after the poo-tiful (haha, I kill me) excitement at the pool, and Tim getting a much deserved beer...we headed  back to rest up, shower and head to Hollywood Studios to see the Hollywood Studios Osbourne Light Spectacular. And yes, its spectacular... however, we did have to wait until darkness fell and Hollywood Studios (I am so not used to it not being MGM) has a lot of fun stuff too. Ty and I went on The Great Movie Ride... it was fun except for lady who pushed her whole family in front of Ty and me... She ran ahead and literally had to get in front of the two of us... I started to get a bit heated, so I asked the cast member dude if I could switch to the other line. I really cannot stand rude people. I bit my tongue and swore I would enjoy it :) We did get on the ride before the rudey rudes and I felt satisfied. The ride was cute, esp the Wizard of Oz part. I was smitten and especially proud that Ty knew the songs. We got off and met up with Tim who had beer and pretzel in hand. Nice.

We saw Lightening McQueen and Tow Mater.... Here is Ty showing off his cars... haha

We rolled over to the Osbourne area and WAH-LAH! The love affair with The Power Rangers began! If I could capture the wonder and amazement in Ty's eyes and bottle it up... it was precious and magical.

Check out the Power Ranger determination in that face!!!

Then they do this little karate performance before getting on their special vehicle that is blaring the power ranger rockness. haha

Then it was off to get his face painted. He was so excited about this and sat so nicely. As soon as the Simba lion face makeup was on, Ty was in character. So cute.

Rrrrrooooarrrr!!!

Showing his teeth... grrrr

Still adorable though

and knows how to ROCK..

And then we came upon Mulch, Sweat and Shears... Fun little band that did their own take on Christmas music. The singer definitely influenced by Jack Black. It totally worked and they were hilarious and talented... More on them in another post...

Where is Tim and Ty ... can you spot them?

Then it was time for the light. I am not gonna lie, I situated us right near where they flip the switch. I wanted them to pick Ty... Avast, they did not, however it was crazy magical fun.  My favorite is when they play Feliz Navidad... dunno why, but it reminds me of my childhood... maybe thats why...
Self portrait of our faces :)

Another angle of the lights...

Tim and Ty were in deep conversation... I didn't interrupt.. haha

Self family portrait... getting better at it . haha
Then it was off to Whispering Canyon Cafe...

And I'll take another Year of a Million Dreams glow drink...
so what if I get it for the glow... HOLLA!

The food was YUM... I actually liked the ribs, which I usually never eat. The ketchup game was played... haha and our server was awesome. Tyler got to ride the pony ride, however, his wooden pony head broke off and he cried... so they gave him a new one and Tim and Ty rocked a solo lap around the restaurant. Yes, it made me giggle quite a bit.

heeheeeheeeeee

Some diet cheesecake... shut up, thats how I can rest my head at night.
ITs diet... especially the decadent chocolate and marshmallow...oh the caramel...ummmmm wha, wait, what were we talking about...

We were there long enough for another pony ride! Check out the shirt... notice its different? haha We had to switch shirts because it started to get covered in all the Simba faceness... and while you don't have to be all fancy pants in Disney, you want to look sort of clean. haha

When we were finished, we walked out and there was a table filled with Lincoln Logs... Ty of course LOVED that.
We looked around the Wilderness Lodge for a while. It is really themed well. I really felt like I was locked away in the Wilderness. That is one thing about Disney.. It magically whisks you away to so many different places and emotions. Sigh...

Check out this cute little ornament.

So here we are, at the end of Day 4... Incredibly fun and just magic. I know I keep saying that, but it is.
Incredible place.
Up next...Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Sushi, Fireworks and All Star MOVIES. WHAT?

Day 4 Part 1 Ohana means family .... Let's go swimming!

We wake up this beautiful morning and it is our character breakfast at Ohana.
Aloha Kakahiaka, E Komo Mai
Good morning, Welcome!
I am so super excited. We are here on our honeymoon :) I was a little emotional, because we were supposed to share this with good friends of ours who were going through a tough time. Ohana means "family" and they are so special to us, like family. I kept them in my heart and thoughts. I felt they were with us in spirit. I cannot wait for the day we can all go there together. We checked in at the podium and they gave us leis... They were not very masculine, haha so it was cute to see Tim wear it for the 2 minutes that he did, Ty thought it was itchy... haha I rocked it with pride :)
From Disney Day 4

We got our table and were served Stitch Juice... OJ, guava, passionfruit...something else, but it sounded good for you, so I drank a glass or 2. It was yum.

They served breakfast bread... It was very sweet.

Fresh fruit... yum on the pineapple :)
Here is Ty making a silly smile face... haha

Daddy mac will make ya...

From Disney Day 4

Ty spilled his Stitch juice and we giggled about it...well not daddy, but we did. haha Sorry Tim.

The normal breakfast food was served.. especially Mickey Waffles... It was all you can eat, but we were good with what we have and they were major food pushers. haha We kept saying "No thank you..." and they would look at us kinda shocked. haha Dude, seriously, it was a ton of food the first go around, look at the bread alone!
We got sat next to a large party, but the tables were not together to they yelled to each other. It was so annoying. You would expect the kids to act up, not the parents to be so obnoxious. we had fun anyway... haha Just gives us something else to chat about. HA
Then there was this adorable parade, they all got shakers and marched around the restaurant with the characters. Ty LOVED it of course. haha
All about the parade

Interesting

Pluto and Ty are buds... Ty was cute with his little autograph book :)

Here is CRAZY Stitch...
Mickey and Ty having a moment

I know this is blurry, but totally cute, so I had to post it

Pucker up!!!

And we all looked like this when we left cause we were super full!

When we left Ty posed at some of the statues all around. It was so cute.

This one played drums and he was stoked.

Playing one handed

Then Ty notices the ukulele in the window... We got a red one last time, but he was just checking it out... while he did I went in and bought him one so we could surprise him.

And we did and he matched it up to the glass... he was so excited and got right into performing. haha

Had to play in front of the drummer dude...

In front of the waterfalls

Singing his little heart out... it was cute cause people stopped to watch him as they were walking by. It didn't faze him, haha, he was performing his little heart out.

Even stopped by the exit to play one more song.

We had such a fabulous time! We decided to head back to go swimming and relax a bit. Tim and Ty got a head start while I did some laundry. I met them and we were hanging out with Ty at the baby pool. Ty was playing with these two little boy and and having a blast when Tim noticed something in the water... It was poo! NO JOKE! So grossed out!!!
Sorry, no pictures.
Tim went straight away to the lifeguards and on the way stepped in a little pile that was on the ground. SO DISGUSTING, but for some reason was laughing my arse off... I guess cause it was not me, I would have probably cried! haha Sorry Tim, had to tell it, its the trip report, don't you want to remember something like that! HAHAAhahaahaa
They closed the pool and drained it... What parent does not notice that and then just leaves it there! Some people are so nasty, I swear!
We got in the big pool and swam around there. They had a dance party going on and people were doing these line dances and craziness. Total fun and helped take our minds off of the nasty happenings... Then they blew up this gigantic beach ball and threw it in the pool... everyone was playing with it. We decided to get out and go get ready to go to Hollywood studios to see the Osbourne Lights :)

Coming up... Hollywood, Power Rangers, The cutest Lion, Good Music and Whispering Canyon Cafe!
